Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. – Theta Zeta Lambda Chapter is hosting the Black & Gold Gala taking place on Saturday, February 25, 2023 – at six O’clock in the evening at The Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest (1275 S Huron St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197).

The Black & Gold Gala is a black-tie affair with great food, entertainment, and fun for everyone.  We create the best time possible for our guests while raising the most funds possible for our Theta Zeta Lambda Scholarship Fund and other community initiatives our chapter supports.  This year, our Gala will have a jazz theme, including performances during our cocktail hour and the evening.

Along with us hosting our first Gala since 2019, we will be celebrating Black Academic Excellence by recognizing alumni associations for Historically Black Colleges and Universities who will be in attendance.  To make the night even more interesting, we will award a $1,000 scholarship to the HBCU or other local Black Alumni Association with the most members in attendance.

The cost for a standard table is $800 and the cost for a premium table is $1,200.  The cost per person to attend the Black & Gold Gala is $100 per standard seat and $150 per premium seat.  Tickets can be purchased online using the following URL: http://tiny.cc/bggala2023
